Scotland Destination Wedding
Trading Khakis for Kilts in the Scottish Highlands
As a descendant of one of the oldest Scottish highland clans, the groom, and his fiancé, dreamed of a destination wedding hosted at the clan’s namesake castle overlooking the shores of Loch Fyne in a remote area of the Scottish highlands. The couple wanted their family and friends to experience the culture and unique traditions of Scotland while perfectly blending their American and Scottish heritages. The unforgettable weekend resulted in 11 vendors coming together from across Scotland to bring their wedding to life.

Our Work
We worked with our couple for 18 months to carefully coordinate the international logistics that brought together 72 guests, 12 family members, and 11 vendors to produce an unforgettable fairytale wedding. Wedding guests were treated to cocktails upon their arrival to the castle where they had time to explore the grounds. Guests took their seats for the ceremony as traditional pipes echoed across the loch and the bride and groom made their way down the aisle. During the reception, guests had the opportunity to walk to the historic ruins of the groom’s namesake castle before enjoying a traditional Scottish feast inside an enchanting tent. Guests danced the night away and learned the traditional Ceilidh dance. Our work included custom design, international coordination and planning, vendor sourcing, vendor management, communication management, and on-site production.
